We Support LGBTQ+ Asylum Seekers & Refugees with Compassion

'... the truth will set you free' - John 8:32

Truth is essential. If you have struggled to live openly as an LGBTQ+ individual due to fears of being beaten, imprisoned, or even killed, what choices do you have? You conceal who you are. You are forced to deceive. You cease to speak the truth and begin to live a facade. This is no way to exist.
Rev'd David says, "This group was never intended to be 'the' final destination. What I mean is that it is not merely a group focused on securing your 'leave to remain'. No, this group encompasses so much more. It's about life itself. It's about confronting everything you have faced and learning to see yourself through this lens. It's about discovering self-love. It's about realising that you ARE loved. Yes, it would be wonderful if you achieve your 'leave to remain', but what if you don’t? What comes next? You must still realise that you are loved, valued, and cherished beyond anything you can fathom. You are one-of-a-kind! There is no one else quite like you. That's just the starting point.
As you navigate the many challenges that life presents, remember that you are lovable and that God loves you. We, as a group, are here to accompany you on this journey, but we can only assist if you are willing to take the initiative and help yourself. It all begins with speaking your truth, because the truth will always set you free!"
